 Parsons Bay Retreat, located within the Tasman Village, offers a Working Holiday to those who are looking for alternative ways to subsidise their travel or recreation costs.

 A Working Holiday is a method of exchanging work for accommodation. Working Holiday arrangements are for 2+ weeks. Free twin share accommodation in a 2 bedroom self catering unit, with food supplied,  is offered in exchange for 5 hours work, 6 days per week. Shifts are usually 8.30am - 1.30pm or 4.00pm - 9.00pm.

 Each day there are many tasks to be done to keep Parsons Bay Retreat running smoothly. The work itself is sometimes very basic and physical, such as the jobs in housekeeping, food service and gardening. (It is a good way to get or keep fit!). Plus, there is the development of the Tasman Village, a purpose designed subdivision creating living systems that are sustainable, affordable and attractive investments. Work in the Village involves development of food production areas, landscaping and building.
